Perfect People and Heroes Each of the historical periods studied in this course presented a hero or a perfect person. We have many heroes today but some of these heroes could benefit society today even more. Nobody is perfect but what could hurt having a perfect person in today’s society? The Angelo Saxon times and the Middle Ages both presented a hero . The renaissance and the enlightenment both presented a idealized vision of a perfect person. The hero in the Angelo Saxon period was strong and had no fear. In Beowulf , Beowulf is a courageous hero.
