My birth name is Alyssa Marie Reese. I was born in Pearl City, Hawaii. The county is Honolulu. I was brought into this world at almost one in the morning on February 28th, 1996 after sixteen hours of labor by a twenty year old woman named Susan Reese. My father, Kevin Reese, had been told that he was unable to have children due to pinched nerves, but at the young age of twenty-one, he was a soldier, a husband, and now a father. I am now nineteen, almost the age of my mother when she had me. I like to joke to her that I beat her. Nineteen and I’m not married yet and I don’t have any children made or in the process of being made. I’m not exactly sure that she finds it funny, but my dad did. My parents are both remarried and I have two younger sisters. I’m very protective of my family and I have become somewhat Either that or I plan on leaving the state to live with my dad or my grandma and attending a university out of state. I’m not exactly sure which one. I’ve had many opportunities to leave Texas already, but this place has become a home to me. When I had first gotten here, I hated it so much. I had just come from Springfield, Virginia and like many northerners I thought that we had to ride horses to school through miles of desert to get anywhere. My current hobbies are running, baking, reading, and I love painting. I am no good at painting, but it’s one of my favorite things to do. You know, besides taking naps. I could sleep all day and night if you’d let me. I’m definitely not a morning person and that’s why I’m taking nothing but night classes. I work at Target right now and all I do for an eight hour shift is pick up after to people and fold clothes.
