3. RESULTS 3.1. Growth performance of broiler chickens Data of broiler performances are presented final body weight, growth rate, feed consumption, feed intake, body weight gain and feed conversion (FCR) were shown in Table 1. Study of growth performance exhibited that the FCR of broilers were lowest at day 28 of age. While the FCR of chicken at day 42 of age were 1.12 and 42.86 g/bird of growth rate. Serum biochemical parameters of broiler chickens Biochemical profiles of broiler chickens were shown in Table 2. The results revealed that the broiler chicken had 206.35±5.31 mg/dl of plasma glucose, 131.40±4.95 mg/dl of cholesterol, 88.30±3.68 mg/dl of triglyceride, 3.91±0.60 g/dl of total protein, and plasma concentrations of metabolic hormones were 56.40+3.35 ng/dl of triiodothyronine and 2.22±0.08 ug/dl of thyroxine, which varies in the range of value among broiler flocks.
