Before these devices, we had to use older communications such as watching our TV or physically having to go to a bank or ATM to get this information. A big difference between then and now is how information is now readily available as and when we want it. If you wanted to get the weather before the internet by watching TV, you would have to wait for the right programme to be on. Having information right in front of us all the time and when we need it, our daily lives and routines have adapted and changed along with the evolution of networks.
